FAB Finish

This is my Fab finish. I did Sunny. A Descriptive Passage and a More About Me. I think I could have done better because it was to colour full and full-on. I think the book was boring in some bits but exiting in others. I think it is a full honey jar but I could have done it better I think I  could have added flaps and pop-outs to make it better. I hope you like it.

Reef knot

 Reef Knot

The Reef knot was one of the hard ones. It has to be able to move after it is finished. It could be used for a lot of things I am not sure what but I think it could be. I would give it a 2/5 difficulty rating because it was pretty hard to do I still have a little trouble with it.

Alpine Butterfly Knot

                              Alpine Butterfly Knot
The  Alpine Butterfly Knot is an easy knot. But is hard for some people at first it was hard for me but it gets easier each time I do it. I am not sure what it would be good for but I think it is good for a lot of things like camping when you need a washing line you can hang the loop an each side of a tree and there. I would give it a 3/5 difficulty rating because it was hard at the start and it is hard to keep it from moving.

Figure Eight Knot

                            Figure Eight Knot

At first, the Figure Eight Knot was hard. But after I watched the video again and watched my friend  I figured it out. It also refreshed my memory. We are doing this for our Whetu survivor. We have done 2 different rotations A native tree one and a shelter one. This is our third rotation. I think that I can do this knot whenever I want now.  I think that this knot would be good for a lot of things it is one of the strongest knots. That is why it worked great because it did not move. I would give this a 4/5 difficulty level because when you know how to do it it gets easier and easier.

Book Review

 The Chocolate Chase Geronimo Stilton!!

The chocolate chase was an awesome book with lots of exciting parts in it. I loved how it was so fun and challenging for the characters. My favourite character was Geronimo. He makes the books awesome and exciting. The best part was when they found the theft of the chocolate egg and the Geronimo gave her the egg Trap and Geronimo made so they could get the egg to save the spring festival. It was awesome. I would give it 10/10 stars
I would recommend it to anyone. I hope you would like to read it and write a review for it and like it as much as I did.

Kiwi tent sucsses

       Kiwi Tent and Shelter SUCCESS!!!!!!

Today we had a go-to build a bush shelter. I think it went well. Our team tried two different types. The first one did not work but the second one did. Then we went to go make a real tent. The first time we did not follow the instructions so we had to take it down and start again. Then we did it and it looked good. The hardest part was doing the shelter getting the rope at the right hight. The easiest part was pulling the tent down because we knew how to do that. I think we all learned how to build a shelter. I think we worked well as a team.

Athletics

 Athletics 2019!!!!

Shotput: For shotput, I am not sure what I came but I think I did well. We got 3 goes each. I think that we all did soo well to be able to throw a shotput.

Long jump: In the long jump, I think I did well. We got 3 jumps. I think everyone did so well. you need to try if you want to go further.

High Jump: I did not do that well. Because we got 3 jumps I failed all of them. I think I could have done better but I was too hot to be able to do my best.

100m Run: I got into the finals for the 100meter sprint. I am not sure what I came but I did not come anything in the finals but I did well because it was so hot I think we all did well.

200m Run: I did not get into the finals I think I came 4th or 5th but I did well. I think I could have done better on all my events but it was just too hot to be able to do my best.

Chapter Chat Week 4 Term4

This is my Chapter Chat for Week 4. I loved doing it. I did a letter to my grandparents for a new per of shoes. I did a task for another week. It was fun. The hardest part was doing the writing I did not know what to say. The easiest part was doing the pitchers because they were just extra to make my task look awesome. I hope you like it.

Super Survival Team Shelters

Simple Tarp shelter.

Step 1. Tie a rope to two trees so it is safe.

Step 2. Then put a tarp over the rope so it looks like a tent.

Step 3. Put sticks in each corner hole of your tarp in the little mettle holes.

TeePee like shelter.

Step1. Get about 4 long strong sticks. Put them in the ground so they look like a TeePee shape.

Step 2. Hook a tarp over your TeePee shape so it goes over your sticks.

Step 3. Tie a rope over the top of your tarp and sticks so it is safe and stays there it is a staple.

these are simple shelters if you're stuck in the wild and have no tent.

Shelter in the wild

You can build a shelter to survive the night out of wildlife such as leaves and trees if you do not have the equipment with you. You need to be prepared to be stuck in the wild overnight so you need to learn how to billed a shelter out of what you have in the wild to use. The different types of shelters are A simple tarp shelter (if you have a tarp with you), Ones made of sticks and leaves, A shelter made from rope and tarp, Hollow tree shelter, Cave shelter and many more it deepens what you have arrowed you or with you. The good things about thees shelters are they are easy and quick to build and you can survive a night. The bad things about these shelters are that you can only really survive one night.  The best place to billed a shelter is preferably in high ground and flat ground because you do not want to be sleeping on a mountain slopping down writs. You want to keep in near trees so it blockers the wind from hitting you more.  The best place to billed a shelter is on a dry surf is if not get some leaves and lay them under your shelter of you don't get cold if that is the only thing you have. There are many ways to build a survival shelter like this to collect lots of tall stickers and leaves for your base and your underneath where you can sleep on top. Then find a place serened by trees to start building then keep using your stickers until it is sleeted Any then you can sleep on the leaves in your shelter. Another shelter you can do if you have a tarp and a rope you can find a place with lots of trees and tie the rope to two trees and then hook the tarp over the rope and lay leaves down to sleep on. There are Meany different shelters but those are the ones I have fawned that looked very good to use if you are stuck in the wild.

Best leaves to use for your shelter: Fires, punnets, Bottlebrush and Moss is also very good to use.
